Happy New Year!
I want to thank each and every one of you for your generosity and support this holiday season. Together we gave three families a wonderful Holiday Season. We supported them with basic needs; toilet paper, paper towels, diapers. We also gave them access to wonderful Family Friendly Venues such as the Children’s Museum, OMSI and the Oregon Zoo. We also made their lives a little more comfortable with new shoes, coats, clothing, bedding, pots/pans and so much more! Last, but not least we provided their children with TOYS. Each family was very grateful and touched by all of your generosity.
We also help raise over 45 pairs of pajamas for children in need through the Northwest Children’s Outreach.
The start of the New Year also marks our enrollment period for the upcoming Fall 2017-2018 School Year. Be sure to check your Links to Home Notifications for the latest news on Fall Registration.
The weather is going to be very COLD. Please make sure your child has a weather appropriate winter coat at school. We ask all parents to double check your child’s clothing bin, to insure their extra clothes are weather appropriate. The prospect of snow, frost and cold provide us to explore new elements on our playground.
The weather may also make driving conditions dangerous. Through Links to Home we are able to send emergency alerts, texts and email. I will also post an emergency notification on our school website. Be sure to check both during inclement weather.
