Families,
It appears spring has arrived! This is a great time to check your child’s cubbie for weather appropriate clothing. Please check your child’s rain boots. At this time of year many students have boots with tears and may need to be replaced.
This month we get to celebrate EARTH Day! Our Earth day celebrations will be on April 21st. This year we will be releasing ladybugs and planting gardens on campus. Planting gardens is an amazing activity to do with kids. The sensory experience of touching the soil, scooping the dirt and pouring the water are all great for sensory development. The act of planting and tending to the garden also increase empathy, as children are caring for something outside of themselves. Just the act of watching something grow and change is magical for children. If you are interested in contributing plants, please see your child’s teacher or the front office.

The price of each book is located on the back of the book and you are welcome to pay with check or cash. If you are writing a check please make it out to SCHOLASTIC. Teachers are an amazing resource for book recommendations are your child’s level.
