Touchstone Parent Organization, a non profit charity, was founded in the year 2000 by Touchstone parents. The TPO is a non-profit 301c3 tax exempt public charity. TPO board members are parents who volunteer their time to support and improve the school. The TPO strives to find new avenues to further enrich the educational and artistic growth of the students. The TPO mission is to enhance the intellectual, creative and artistic growth for Touchstone children, while building a stronger sense of community among all Touchstone families.
A school wide Coat Drive, Food Drive, Giving Tree, and Oregon Humane Society Food Drive are some of the connections TPO makes to the surrounding community. The TPO supports continuing education grants for teachers, the school library, music, art and PE programs. Each school year the TPO is instrumental in enhancing the school community through events that facilitate family connections.
Annual events such as Family Art Night, End of Year pic, attending sports events such as Blazer or Timbers games enhance and help to connect the Touchstone community.
