Fall is here, but summer wants to hang on a bit longer. This weather has been amazing and we are so fortunate. The rain will come, but for now we get to enjoy some sunshine! The weather is a bit cooler in the mornings, so your child will need to layer up or bring a light jacket.
October is a fun an engaging month. Many classrooms are planning activities focusing on the changes we are seeing in our natural environment. Be on the lookout for classroom specific information, regarding your child’s classroom.
This month we are partnering with Barnes and Noble to provide parents the opportunity to purchase items and have a portion of the proceeds benefit our classrooms. Between October 24-28th, simply visit the Barnes and Noble and give the cashier, at checkout, these Vouchers. Important Barnes and Noble dates:
October 28: Evening Story Hour (5:00-6:00)*
*Students can come dressed in a costume or their pajamas for this special story hour.
October Important Dates:
*10/1 – 10/5: Tuition Due
* 10/1: Music starts in Pre-K classrooms
* 10/9: Teacher In-service “NO SCHOOL”
* 10/24: Barnes and Noble Story Hour
* 10/24-10/28:Barnes and Noble Book Fair (voucher attached)
* 10/28: Evening Story Hour @ Barnes and Noble (5:00-6:00)
* 10/30: All school Costume/Pajama Parade!
REMINDERS:
* Sign your child in and out each day!
* Check your child’s cubby for weather appropriate clothes.
* Make sure your child has Rain boots at school.
