November News

Families,

November is a fun month for our school.  It marks the transition between warm weather to more “autumn” like weather.  Every morning when you walk in, the leaves in the hallway are proof of this transition.

With the cooler weather students will need to bring in weather appropriate close.  Please check your child’s cubby daily to insure they have enough weather appropriate clothing.  Our playground is a natural one. There are mud puddles, grass, sticks, leaves and plenty of opportunities to engage with the natural environment.  With the change in weather our playground environment has changed as well.  Your child may come home with a bag of two of dirty clothes.  This doesn’t mean they were making bad choices, but rather interacted with the environment outside.  If you have any questions about the playground please feel free to ask.

The cooler weather also brings the cold and flu season.  If your child is sick, please keep them home.  Any child who has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea will need to be picked up from school.  There are also copies of our sick policy at the front desk.

As always if you have any questions, please stop by the front desk or see your child’s teacher.

Warmest Regards,

Alicia Lazz, Principal
